Kaiser
Tool Company hand dips each knifeblade with a protective soft plastic
cap. This cap protects the knifeblade during shipment and assures the
customer that the knifeblade was inspected and shipped from Kaiser Tool
Company in perfect condition.
To
properly remove the protective cap, grasp the knifeblade between two
fingers of one hand and the protective cap between two fingers of the
other hand and pull straight apart.

Do
Not twist
protective cap in order to remove it from around the knifeblade. If
you twist the protective cap you are apt to break off the sharp cutting
tip of the knifeblade. To protect the blade's point, do not re-apply
cap.
